The AliMed® FREEDOM® Low-Profile ThumbKeeper™ is a splint that supports an unstable CMC and MP joint for patients with chronic thumb arthritis. The splint is made of a 1/16" Multiform thermoplastic outer shell that is lined with AliPlast foam. The overlap palmar strap closure is easier to manipulate than traditional D-ring closure. The splint helps to stabilize the thumb joint and allows the patient to continue with daily activities. The splint is low-profile, so it can be worn under clothing.
